Just to remind everyone of the rules: 1) Any forward who plays 27 minutes or more for 3 straight games will be suspended for one game 2) Any defenseman who plays 30 minutes or more for 3 straight games will be suspended for one game 3) Once a team has had a player suspended, the next infracation of ANY player on the team will be two games. 4) Once a team has had two players suspended, the next infraction of any player on the team will be three games. 5) Future suspensions will be three games 6) Any overtime games will not count as games. 7) Teams must dress at least 17 players for a game and must have at least 20 players on the roster. 8) In the playoffs; A) The number of games you are allowed to go over consecutivly becomes 2 B) If you go over 2 games in a row (excluding overtime games) that player will get a 2 game suspension If a player goes over for Games 1 & 3 and game 2 is an OT game that still counts as going over since game 2 no longer counts cause of the OT. Joe Thornton in a stretch of 8 games over limit. Bad Sharks. Some of them might be preseason though.

Guys, Any player who was infringing the rule before Oct 20 has been given an amnesty. Basically, although it was pretty much assumed that we're using the same rules as NB1 it wasn't really confirmed until last night when this thread was started. From now on though, watch your ITs. Also, if you notice an infraction please just PM or email me rather than post it here. Thanks. |

Game date November 11: Daniel Alfredsson, Ottawa Senators, 1-game suspension SERVED I've also scratched Stillman as his suspension is still unserved. Fedorov was scratched when I went in, so I assume he's serving his suspension next game. From now on, any suspended player who hasn't been scratched within 2 sims will be removed from his team's lineup without warning. Edited by gavin, Jun 2 2010, 02:56 AM.

Alfredsson has been scratched for tonight's sim. Guys, if you're going to be away or unable to get into the game it would definitely be in your interest to either make sure someone is taking care of your team or set your line rotation conservatively. I'm going to put Fedorov and Stillman back in their respective lineups as both were still scratched this morning, but this is a one-time-only deal. From now on it's your responsibility to keep an eye on this thread and make sure that suspensions are served. Thanks! |
